Cutter Creek Farm, LLC is a hunter/jumper horse training facility located on the northern West Coast. Annie Alvord, the owner and head trainer at Cutter Creek, travels with her clients and their horses to compete up and down the coast. In order to keep the horses and riders in shape throughout the cold winter months, Alvord needed a covered riding arena to provide warm and dry riding space.

After riding in a fabric structure, Alvord found ClearSpan and decided a Hercules Truss Arch Building was exactly what she was looking for. She explains, “I liked that it allowed for a lot of natural light, which meant a reduction in energy costs.” She also notes, “I loved the building’s open feeling!” Besides the benefits of the building itself, Alvord was impressed by the company. “I was drawn to the fact that ClearSpan offered in-house financing.”

The building provides wonderful natural light, just as Alvord had expected. She is also enjoying “the spacious open feeling,” with no interior support posts. Alvord adds, “I really like that we have the ability to add on to or move the building if our needs change at some point.”

Alvord isn’t the only one who fell in love with the new arena. She says “Our dogs love it too! When the weather is nasty, we can take them in the arena and play with them in comfort.” She is also using the Truss Arch Building for holding meetings and parties when she needs extra space. Alvord is pleased with both the building and service she received from the company. “I am very happy with the product and with the people who helped us at ClearSpan. My Truss Arch specialist has been a sweetheart. Thanks, ClearSpan, you have made a dream of ours come true!”
